George Zimmerman REALLY Wants To Fight Kanye West

George Zimmerman REALLY Wants To Fight Kanye West

(AllHipHop News) It’s another February day where George Zimmerman is asking to beat up another Black man. Two years after his fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin in February of 2012, George Zimmerman’s promoters are saying he is asking for a boxing match with Kanye West.

Why does Zimmerman want to fight the Yeezus rapper? According to sources with TMZ, Zimmerman has taken issue with Kanye’s treatment of seemingly defenseless people. Kanye assaulting a paparazzi member in September of 2013 and his recent altercation with a racist 18 year old heckler has rubbed Zimmerman the wrong way.

This is the second rapper Zimmerman has voiced his desire to fight. A few days ago, promoter Damon Feldman of the Celebrity Boxing Federation informed MFIR Radio that rapper Game would be a “perfect match” for the training Zimmerman.

Kanye West The Subject Of Textbook Regarding His “Cultural Impact”

Kanye West The Subject Of Textbook Regarding His "Cultural Impact"

Kanye West is the subject of “The Cultural Impact Of Kanye West,” an academic textbook by Julius Bailey, due March 2014.

March 6 will see the release of The Cultural Impact of Kanye West, an over 300-page examination of the Kanye West and his impact on music and culture.

The description of author Julius Bailey’s unofficial academic textbook says it’s an in-depth analysis of the “moral and social implications of West’s words, images and music in the broader context of Western civilization’s preconceived ideas.”

Bailey has been an ambassador for Hip Hop’s purge of academia in the past. He’s been the editor of a collection of essays on Jay Z’s impact in music culture and has written a book on the fusion of Hip Hop and Philosophy. Julius Bailey is also a professor of philosophy at Wittenberg University and a leading voice in Hip Hop pedagogy.

This is not the first time Hip Hop has entered the halls of academia. Numerous universities across the United States have included Hip Hop as a discourse for learning. More notable examples include 9th Wonder’s fellowship at Harvard and his professorship at Duke University. Jay Z is also the subject of a class at Georgetown University.

See The Cultural Impact of Kanye West’s full synopsis below (via Consequence Of Sound):

The ability of popular art to offer societal critiques and challenge received ideas has been recognized throughout history. Through rap and hip hop, composers, singers, and entertainers have recently provided a voice questioning and challenging the sanctioned view of the times. This book offers an in-depth reading of the works and cultural impact of Kanye West. Looking at the moral and social implications of West’s words, images, and music in the broader context of Western civilization’s preconceived ideas, the contributors consider how West both challenges religious and moral norms and propagates them.

Kanye West Gay? Fans Bash Rumors Following Riccardo Tisci’s ‘Best Sex’ Revelation, Some Say ‘I Always Knew’: Should Pregnant Kim Kardashian Worry for Baby KimYe?

Kanye West gay rumors are currently taking the web by storm – some fans think such gossip is totally ridiculous, while others insist they knew the “Gold Digger” rapper was into guys this entire time. What do MFIR readers think – should pregnant Kim Kardashian worry about her beau’s alleged wandering eye… aimed at popular fashion designer, Riccardo Tisci?

An In Touch exclusive published earlier this month initially sparked the “Kanye West gay” rumors… apparently, the baby bump-flaunting Kim K fears that West has a secret “boyfriend” over in Paris…MediaTakeOut merely added fuel to the fire by quoting Riccardo Tisci’s recent “best sex” revelation. As MFIR perviously reported…

In a recent interview with Vogue Homme, Tisci is asked to reveal his “best” sexual experience. The fashion mogul goes on to dish:

“I have several but the one I think immediately is an experience I had with a man who is known. I never imagined that something could happen between us and it’s still the “hottest weekend of my life.

Nobody really knows if this guy is straight or gay, it is a mystery. However, I was attracted to him, his way of speaking, thinking, walking, dressing. I love what he does as an artist.

This weekend both, this intimate moment has only reinforced my attraction to him.”

According to MTO, Tisci must only be referring to a sexy (and secret) romp with Yeezy.

Some fans believe all the buzz, while others totally deny it:

“I BELIEVE he loves men and I also BELIEVE Kim knows it too.”

“There’s no way the kanye gay rumors are true, no way!”

“Lol really and the first person came to mind was Ye… MTO got a bunch of queens dreaming about Ye.”

“WHERE do people get this stuff? Media hype!! Put out music Kanye not rumors!”

“IDK, I’ve always gotten the gay vibe from him. Ain’t nothing wrong with that though.”

“Anyone who believes this is a fool. Only ignorant idiots and jealous people will be “agreeing” with this stupid rumor.”

“Yea he’s a freak that’s why he paid Amber Rose good money to keep their relationship activities a secret… I’m sure hes not gay jus having fun going both ways.”

“I wouldn’t believe any of the crap until he came out and said it himself!”

Woah… do MFIR readers have anything to say about it?

Kid Cudi Leaves Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music Rapper splits with longtime label home.

Kid Cudi, Kanye West

Kid Cudi dropped a pretty big bomb yesterday afternoon: he’s no longer on G.O.O.D. Music.  The “Girls” rapper checked in to L.A.’s Power 106 radio station Tuesday, making the announcement to on-air personalities Yesi Ortiz and DJ Felli Fell.

Asked about how he’s been treated by the label, Cudi casually responded “Everything is cool,” only to follow up the praise with news of his departure. “I am announcing that I’m no longer on G.O.O.D. Music.”

Knocking down any obligatory talk of a Cudi vs. Kanye West beef, the 30-year-old said that he consulted his boss about wanting to go in a new “direction” — as in working his own label, Wicked Awesome. “He got it because he’s trying to start his new path and trying new things  as an artist” Cudi explained. “He was just like, ‘Man I feel you!'”

Rather than jump head first into the label game, Cudi plans to keep it small and will focus on his artist King Chip (formerly Chip the Ripper). Based on the speech, the Ohio native must’ve really thought his plan through and has known that the end was near for “at least” six months now. He also spoke with Jay-Z to get his opinion on how to “approach” Kanye so as not to offend his longtime friend. In the end, Yeezy was receptive to the whole thing and Cudi is off to blaze his on trail.

With Hov and Ye to advise him, (hopefully) he can’t go wrong.

Cudi’s Indicud album drops April 23.
