Remy Ma told Wendy how she always watched the show in prison and the show was “the root of a couple physical altercations. I mean it’s one TV and there’s 60 women and we only get to watch at certain times and I was like, I’m watching Wendy, we’re watching it.”

After “6 years, 4 months, 5 days and 15 minutes” in prison Remy Ma told Wendy the first thing she did when she arrived home was, “I took a shower. No, no seriously, for 6 1/2 years I took a shower with shoes on because you don’t want to step on the floor and you can’t touch the walls, so I was just in the tub rubbing my hand on the tile.” The first thing Remy ate once she got out was “Popeye’s” and when it came to getting her hair done, Remy Ma explained, “Oh that was waiting at the house!”

When speaking about her marriage with Papoose she said, “I believe that me being away actually brought us closer than we would be if I was home. It made us understand how precious we are to each other. ”She laughed when Wendy asked if she’s had conjugal visits.

On maintaining a mother role she added, “I watch him everyday in the house and I just be like, who is this person. I’m starting to learn, you know, things that he likes and that he doesn’t like and little sleeping habits and weird stuff.”

Remy Ma also revealed that she made friends while in prison but told Wendy, “I can’t be in contact with them though due to my parole stipulations.” She also reveled that 50 Cent sent her “wonderful letters” for her appeal.

Wendy asked Remy Ma about the rumors that there is a feud between her and Nicki Minaj and she explained, “That’s not true. We speak often and I’m very proud of her and she wishes me the best and I wish her the best all the time.” Remy Ma also gave advice to mother and reality star Teresa Giudice, “As much as she can, stay on the phone with them. Write them letters, you know, have people bring them to see her as much as they can. As much as you can, try to communicate with your children and don’t lie to them.” Remy even bust a freestyle for Wendy!

NICKI MINAJ VISITS AUGUST ALSINA IN THE HOSPITAL

August Alsina and Nicki Minaj

While recovering from multiple seizures, August Alsina received an outpouring of support from his friends including Chris Brown and 2 Chainz. On Monday, he got a hospital visit from Nicki Minaj, who stopped by to check in on her “No Love”collaborator.

“August, u know, I’m here to save u. still praying for my lil bro. He’s doing better,” tweeted Nicki, who snapped a selfie with her friend.

August posted another photo of the two of them, writing, “She has to be the sweetest girl I know. #ASisterThatPrays.”

Wale and Kevin Hart also taped video messages for their pal. “I don’t like seeing you down like this,” said Hart. “I know the shit got rough for you for a minute, but everything’s a wake-up call, baby. Get bigger, get stronger.”

The New Orleans crooner has been in the hospital after collapsing on stage during his New York City concert on September 15. He reportedly suffered multiple seizures and was in a coma for three days.

August thanked his friends and fans for their well wishes. “Recovery, it’s a process. I woke from a coma,” he said. “God gave me a second chance at life & I’d like to thank each and every person that sent any form and expression of love thru gift, card, flowers or simply your kind words and prayers. I’m a hustler, I’m a worker, I overwork myself at times but I’m a survivor and still here by the grace of God and your prayers.”

Nicki Minaj Says Her High School Won’t Let Her Return To Speak To Students

NICKI MINAJ

Looks like the students at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in New York City will have to miss out on what would’ve been the coolest assembly ever.

Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to express her disappointment after LaGuardia’s principal allegedly denied her request to come back and speak to current students:

Fans quickly offered their support, recalling Minaj’s memorable appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” when she met the adorable Sophia Grace and Rosie.

“Stay in school, the both of you. Music is beautiful but I want you to stay in school. Put your books first, and singing second,” Minaj told the girls.

Minaj spoke fondly of the performing arts school to Teen Vogue in May 2013: “It was the first time I felt like I really fit in. Everyone there was creative. For once, I didn’t feel like there was something weird about me.”

UPDATE: As reported by GossipCop, the singer’s request to visit was denied by the school because Minaj planned on bringing along a camera crew.

A spokesperson for The Department of Education told GossipCop, “Of course alumni are welcome back to our campuses and we love to celebrate their success, providing it does not interrupt the educational process. Alumni visit all the time and address students.

“However, we do not allow reality TV to be filmed on school property. For documentaries, any visit to a public school must be educational in nature and cannot intrude on instruction,” the spokesman said.

Exclusive Lil Kim Flawless Remix – ( Nicki Diss) Queen B Bitch

Lil Kim - Flawless (Remix)

Beyonce Takes Shots at Kanye, Kim & Addresses ElevatorGate in ‘Flawless (Remix)’ ft. Nicki Minaj

Beyonce is staying in the headlines as of late thanks to rumors suggesting her marriage to Jay Z is on the rocks and some suspect the couple will announce their separation once the On the Run Tour wraps up.

Although Bey has already made it clear on her Instagram account that the Carters are good, she’s decided to use the tabloid buzz in her favor by dropping the “Flawless (Remix)” with Nicki Minaj late last night.

And folks are already buzzing about the lyrics because some of it sounds like Beyonce may be clapping back at a few folks and even letting folks know ElevatorGate isn’t something she’s sweating these days.

The standout line for Beyonce would easily be the following:

We escalate, up in this b*tch like elevators
Of course sometimes sh*t go down
When it’s a billion dollars on an elevator
Of course sometimes sh*t go down
When it’s a billion dollars on an elevator

Interestingly enough, it also sounds like Bey had some words for Kanye too. Since hooking up with Kim, the rapper’s wife has constantly been compared to Beyonce in the media and it appears the singer is about tired of it. She raps:

These thots can’t clock me nowadays
You wish I was your pound cake
Boy you know I look good as f*ck
You wish I was your babymomma
Want me to come around and give you good karma, but no

As far as Nicki is concerned, her verse is getting plenty of buzz for her controversial Michael Jackson reference:

Yo, like MJ doctor, they killing me
Propofol, I know they hope I fall
But tell ‘em winning is my motherf*ckin’ protocol

Nicki Minaj Reveals Wedding Plans — Is She Engaged!?

Engagement rumors are flying around Nicki Minaj like weaves at a sample sale. The American Idol alum has been with her boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, for over a decade, so it’s not out of the question they’d get official with it one of these days. But what’s really throwing the wedding speculation into hyperdrive are the interviews the Nickster’s been giving lately, detailing her dream nuptials. Seriously, girl is getting specific like she just came back from the caterer with truffle oil stuck in her lipstick. So what’s her Minajness saying?

To In Touch, the rapper revealed her big day will be one long costume change. “I’m gonna have 10 [dresses],” she says. But then ostensibly, the interviewer slaps her in the face with a mixtape, because Nicki comes to her senses and says, “OK, maybe more like three!”

Don’t worry, that’s not where garment gab ends. Nicki goes on to dish deets about those three dresses, saying that she’ll have “a big princess dress, something short I can dance in at the party, and then an Alexander McQueen gown that’s sexy and figure-hugging.”

This isn’t the first time the future Mrs. Samuels (we hope) has talked about her ideal “I do.” Just a few short weeks ago she revealed that her ideal wedding locale would be somewhere beachy. And!!!,a few months ago she and her man Mr. Sam were spotted wearing matching ring finger bling. It’s like they’re just toying with us because they can! So sadistic. Come on guys, let us in on the secret — you getting married or what?

What do you think of all of Nicki’s wedding talk? Think we’ll hear autotuned wedding bells soon?

MALCOLM X DAUGHTER SLAMS NICKI MINAJ

Exported.;

Don’t disrespect Malcolm.

That’s the message the slain civil rights leader’s daughter wants to send to pop star Nicki Minaj, whose use of Malcolm X’s likeness for her latest single prompted a backlash.

“Ms. Minaj’s artwork for her single does not depict the truth of Malcolm X’s legacy, is completely disrespectful, and in no way is endorsed by my family,” Ilyasah Shabazz told the Daily News Friday, two days after the controversy

Shabazz, one of six children by Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz, called on parents and educators Friday to teach their children about the country’s civil rights history.

“It is our family’s hope that the true legacy and context of Malcolm X’s life continues to be shared with people from all walks of life in a positive manner that helps promote the goals and ideals for which Malcolm X so passionately advocated,” said Shabazz, author of the memoir “Growing Up X” and a motivational speak.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!! NICKI SHOULD BE BOYCOTTED FOR THIS TRACK

Nikki Minaj is a FRICKIN idiot!!!!!!! I’ve never seen such blatant ignorance and disrespect!!!!! The entire Muslim Nation and Malcolm’s family need to boycott in front of her label her venues and her shows. If a white man pulled this stunt the black community would be up in arms. Only Hippocrates would such bafoonary. NUFF said – MIKEY JAY

But say this at a time where we are talking about Blacks embracing their cultural roots Nicki Keeps us back another Hundred years….

Nicki Minaj’s new single “Lookin’ Ass N—a” quenched the thirst of some rap fans who’ve been pining for more bars from the YMCMB star, but the track’s accompanying cover art is attracting attention for all the wrong reasons.

Nicki dropped the video for “Lookin Ass N—a” on Wednesday, and no one’s mad at that barely there lace outfit she’s sporting, but her decision to use Malcom X on the cover art is another story.

The artwork features an image of the civil-rights activist holding a rifle and peeking out the window of his Queens, New York, home. The photo of Malcom X reportedly appeared in the 1964 issues of Ebony and Lifemagazines just a year before he was assassinated. Nicki shared the cover on her own Instagram account this week, but it has since been deleted, making it unclear if it was official artwork, or simply a spotlight on fan art.

If it is real, however, and Nicki was hoping to pay her respects somehow, that was lost on those who took to Twitter to express their disappointment and outrage that Malcom X’s image was placed next to such a provocative song title.

“Wayne used Emmett Till’s murder for a dumb line. Nicki Minaj uses Malcolm X’s image as cover art for a ‘Lookin Ass N—a’ song. Buffoonery,” @ClauGasol wrote, while, @destinylamyaa added, “This generation doesn’t care about black history, that’s why they’re cool with Nicki Minaj art cover. All they wanna be is cool smh.”

“I seriously thought that Nicki Minaj cover art of Malcolm X was a joke…something y’all Twitter people did,” @Miami_Chica chimed in.

Looks like @km_mixedlove appreciated it though. “I think Nicki Minaj’s cover art is clever & funny,” she wrote. “Lol you guys are all talking about it. She did something right.”

Nicki Minaj hasn’t commented on the uproar as yet, but some fans are extra upset about the timing of the release. “WOW. I heard the song w/o seeing the cover art. Nicki Minaj used Malcolm X for THAT song DURING #BlackHistoryMonth? C’mon love….,” ‏@yusufyuie wrote.

“Lookin Ass N—a” is set to appear on the upcoming YMCMB compilation.

Is Nicki Minaj’s Malcom X cover art offensive?
Yes, it’s completely inappropriate
No, the artwork complements the song’s title
