Bobbi Kristina Brown’s perilous medical condition

Here, Bobbi Kristina is seen arriving at a Newark,

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s perilous medical condition changed briefly but not for the better: She suffered seizures when doctors attempted to wean her off drugs that had put her in a medically induced coma.

She’s still in a coma in an Atlanta hospital, still fighting for her life following the seizures, according to a source close to the situation but unauthorized to speak publicly.

People and CNN also are reporting the development.

People‘s anonymous family source described the seizures as “violent,” further alarming her already anguished family gathered at the hospital since Bobbi Kristina was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, Ga., home on Jan. 31.

CNN, also quoting an unnamed family source, said doctors were forced to put her back on the coma drugs.

Last week, doctors removed her breathing tube, a standard procedure performed after time to prevent infections, protect the vocal cords and keep the lungs clear of fluid.

Jordan S. Josephson, an ENT specialist at Lenox Hill Hospital, told USA TODAY the tracheostomy procedure is typically done when people are expected to be on a ventilator for more than a couple of days.

In attempting to wean her off the coma drugs, doctors treating her might have sought to learn how Bobbi Kristina would react — perhaps even emerge from the coma, according to other medical experts on brain injuries quoted by People.

There have been no official comments from her family or their lawyers.

Her father, Bobby Brown, and her Houston relatives (from her mother, the lateWhitney Houston), have said almost nothing about her condition or how she is been treated by doctors.

Nor has there been comment from her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who’s a focus of the police investigation of what happened to her, and who’s been attack-tweeting Bobby Brown recently over whether he can visit Bobbi Kristina in the hospital.

Bobbi Kristina Brown: Bobby & Nick Gordon’s Furious Fight At Her Bedside

While Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life, her family is in turmoil, a source tells EXCLUSIVELY. Her father, Bobby Brown, and partner, Nick Gordon, are at each other’s throats, while a new report claims her aunt, Pat Houston, has a restraining order against Nick. Find out all the details.

A fight between Bobby Brown and Nick Gordon got so heated at Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s bedside that Tyler Perry had to step in and intervene. Bobby thinks Nick is responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s current condition — she’s currently in a medically-induced coma — while Nick thinks her dad is at fault. Find out all the details on their furious fight in the hospital room.

Nick Gordon & Bobby Brown Fight At Bobbi Kristina’s Bedside: Why They’re Furious

“Bobby and Nick got into a shoving match and were cursing inside Bobbi Kristina’s room. Bobby accused Nick of enabling his daughter — he blames him for the predicament she’s in. That’s when Nick lost it. He got furious at Bobby and told him ‘Just because her mother’s family hates your guts and blames you for everything you put Whitney [Houston] through, doesn’t mean you have to take it out on me,’” a source tells EXCLUSIVELY.

Drugs Found in Bobbi Kritina’s Home

UPDATE: Bobbi Kristina Brown Taken Off Life Support?

Do you think Nick Gordon is to blame for Bobbi Kristina’s current condition?

Police allegedly found drugs in Bobbi Kristina’s home during a recent search, reports TMZ. However, E! claims that Roswell Police said they never went back to Bobbi Kristina’s house a second time.

“Bobby and Nick then started pushing each other. It got so bad that hospital security was called. But before they got there, Tyler had calmed both men down and separated them. Tyler’s a big dude and he talked to Nick outside the room and told him that Bobby was wrong for what he said. He then told Nick he was wrong as well. Tyler explained to Nick that everyone is just uptight right now. He then asked Nick if he would kindly go home for the day and come back tomorrow. Nick then left,” our source adds.

This is just so unfortunate. We’re sure everyone is looking for someone to blame, but hopefully, they can work things out and lean on each other instead of quarreling.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Aunt Has Restraining Order Against Nick Gordon

Sadly, that may not happen anytime soon. Bobbi’s aunt, Pat Houston, reportedly has a restraining order against Nick. Pat allegedly filed for the order of protection on March 14, 2014, after Nick “made threatening comments and posted photos of guns with the intention of making (her) fearful for her personal safety,” according to E! Online.

Nick is not supposed to have any direct contact with Pat through April 13, 2015.

Our thoughts remain with Bobbi Kristina’s friends and family during this difficult time.

Cops fix car of chokehold victim’s mom after ticket

Cops fix car of chokehold victim’s mom after ticket

The mother of police-chokehold victim Eric Garner was pulled over for a busted headlight on Staten Island last week and promptly got the borough’s top cop to send out NYPD officers to fix the minivan for her so she could get out of the ticket, sources told The Post.

Gwen Carr, 65, was furious when a cop pulled her over for the cracked light on her 2006 Kia Sedona on the night of Oct. 21, sources said.

Before the ticket-issuing officer could get back to his station house, Carr called borough commander Edward Delatorre to complain, the sources said.

Delatorre had given Carr his phone number in the days after her son’s death in case she needed to contact him directly, a law-enforcement source said.

To the shock of many officers, Delatorre phoned Capt. Alan Larson of the Staten Island Task Force — and the cop who pulled her over was chewed out because he hadn’t recognized her name, sources said.

Larson called a lieutenant in the task force and said, “Make this right, and go fix it,’’ a source said.

The lieutenant called a sergeant in the Emergency Service Unit and told him to fix the light, sources said.

“You’re kidding me, right?” the sergeant, Anthony Lisi, replied, according to a source.

“No, I’m not joking. I’m being ordered to do it. I need help,” the lieutenant replied, according to the source.

“I’ll give you the tools, but I’m not changing the light,’’ Lisi answered, according to sources.

The lieutenant called back shortly after and said, “Forget it. We’re taking care of it,” according to sources.

That lieutenant and a sergeant then acted as Carr’s personal pit crew and went shopping for a head lamp at an auto-parts store, sources said.

The cops drove with the new light to Carr’s home, where they made the fix themselves.

They even gave her the papers needed to void her summons. The ticket, which carries a maximum fine of $150, can be voided if it is fixed within 24 hours.

“The cops were ordered to do this,” a police source confirmed. “They paid for it themselves. They did the work themselves and took care of the ticket.”

The NYPD declined to comment. Neither Delatorre nor Larson or Lisi could immediately be reached.

Ed Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, called the incident unfair ticket-fixing — noting it was particularly outrageous given that scores of cops have been tainted by the Bronx ticket-fixing scandal.

“It’s sad how hardworking police officers were arrested for a culture of ticket-fixing in the NYPD, and years later, high-ranking chiefs and captains continue the culture and have now opened the NYPD to the auto repair business,” he said.

Louis Turco, president of the Lieutenants Benevolent Association, said, “My lieutenant was following orders from a superior.’’

PBA President Patrick Lynch called for an investigation.

The message that brass is sending to the public is, “If they get a ticket, don’t pay it, just call an NYPD boss and they’ll fix it,” he said.

Garner died in July while being arrested for allegedly peddling cigarettes His family has filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the city for $75 million.

Tracy Morgan Still Wheelchair Bound … Walking is Now Questionable

Tracy Morgan was seen Wednesday afternoon being wheeled into a New York City hospital … and TMZ has learned he might not be ditching the chair anytime soon.

Morgan is still recovering from the horrific car crash back in June when a Walmart truck collided with his van. Sources close to Tracy tell TMZ … Morgan’s injuries stemming from that crash may prevent him from ever walking again without some kind of assistance.

Morgan has been feuding publicly with Walmart after it claimed in legal docs his injuries were due in part to the fact he wasn’t wearing his seat belt.

Morgan responded by saying, “My friends and I were doing nothing wrong.”

Tracy Morgan’s professional fate is in limbo, with new reports indicating that he suffered a crippling brain injury following the crash he survived this summer.

Benedict Morelli, Morgan’s lawyer, told Page Six that the “jury is out” on whether the comedian will be able to perform again. He is currently in rehab for speech, cognitive, vocational and physical functionalities. Morelli said doctors don’t yet know whether the wheelchair-bound Morgan, 45, will return to his previous self.

“These people are despicable,” Morelli said of Walmart executives, who on Monday said Morgan and the three friends with him were partly to blame in the crash for not wearing seat belts. “They knew that they changed these people’s lives forever and killed somebody. They’re good blame shifters. I guess that’s how they make $783 billion a year, shifting the blame.”

Morgan rebuked Walmart’s claims in a statement released Tuesday. “I can’t believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused,” the “30 Rock” star wrote, referring to the Walmart tractor-trailer that smashed into the back of Morgan’s limo in June. “My friends and I were doing nothing wrong. I want to thank my fans for sticking with me during this difficult time. I love you all. I’m fighting hard every day to get back.”

August Alsina and Nicki Minaj

While recovering from multiple seizures, August Alsina received an outpouring of support from his friends including Chris Brown and 2 Chainz. On Monday, he got a hospital visit from Nicki Minaj, who stopped by to check in on her “No Love”collaborator.

“August, u know, I’m here to save u. still praying for my lil bro. He’s doing better,” tweeted Nicki, who snapped a selfie with her friend.

August posted another photo of the two of them, writing, “She has to be the sweetest girl I know. #ASisterThatPrays.”

Wale and Kevin Hart also taped video messages for their pal. “I don’t like seeing you down like this,” said Hart. “I know the shit got rough for you for a minute, but everything’s a wake-up call, baby. Get bigger, get stronger.”

The New Orleans crooner has been in the hospital after collapsing on stage during his New York City concert on September 15. He reportedly suffered multiple seizures and was in a coma for three days.

August thanked his friends and fans for their well wishes. “Recovery, it’s a process. I woke from a coma,” he said. “God gave me a second chance at life & I’d like to thank each and every person that sent any form and expression of love thru gift, card, flowers or simply your kind words and prayers. I’m a hustler, I’m a worker, I overwork myself at times but I’m a survivor and still here by the grace of God and your prayers.”

TI & Floyd Mayweather Jr. Get Into a Physical Altercation Over Tiny

Many stars head to Las Vegas for Memorial Day Weekend where there’s tons of partying and drinking.  Well according to witnesses rapper T.I and boxer Floyd Mayweather were at Fatburger when an altercation occurred and it reportedly was over T.I.’s wife Tiny.

According to several witnesses Floyd was eating inside the restaurant when T.I. walked up and started jawing at Floyd.

Some sources say that T.I was upset that Floyd and his wife Tiny were hanging out. Floyd told the rapper to, “control his bi*ch” and that’s when all hell broke loose.

T.I. swung at Floyd their giant bodyguards jumped in to separate them.

Las Vegas PD arrived just as Floyd was leaving and told T.I. was already gone.

Police confirm one guy suffered a minor injury during the fight, but he refused treatment and did not want to cooperate with investigating officers. Cops tell TMZ the guy who was injured was “slashed” and was a Fatburger employee.

Here’s photos of Floyd Mayweather and Tiny together including when she traveled to Vegas for his May 3rd fight. Tiny also took a picture with Floyd’s daughter Yaya whom he threw a birthday party for, and there’s a picture of the man who was unfortunately slashed.

Report: Yasiin Bey Barred From Re-Entering the U.S.

Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) has canceled his upcoming U.S. tour over immigration issues barring him from coming back to the 50 states, reports All Hip Hop.

A statement posted on one of the organizers’ website last week announced the scrapped shows. “We regret to inform you that due to immigration / legal issues Yasiin Bey is unable to enter back into the United States and his upcoming U.S. tour has been canceled, including May 15th, Together Boston’s show at The Wilbur Theatre. Individual ticket refunds for this show are available at point of sale.”

Bey moved to South Africa last year. He recently spoke to Rolling Stone magazine about relocating. “I lived in Brooklyn 33 years of my life. I thought I’d be buried in that place. And around seven years ago, I was like, you know, ‘I gotta go, I gotta leave,'” he shared. “It’s very hard to leave. And I lived in a lot of places. Central America. North America. Europe for a while. And I came to Cape Town in 2009 and it just hit me. I was like, ‘Yeah.’ I know when a good vibe gets to you. And, you know, I thought about this place every day from when I left.”

In May 2013, Bey, whose birth name is Dante Terrell Smith, made the official move with the help of friend/manager Abdi Hussein (aka Whosane). “So, I came and I said I’m not leaving, I’m staying,” continued the 40-year-old lyricist. “And I’m not here just for like middle class comfort, you know. Sure, it’s a beautiful place, you got the ocean, the mountain, the botanical garden, the beautiful people, the history, the culture, the struggle and everything — maaan, let me tell you something, for a guy like me, who had five or six generations not just in America but in one town in America, to leave America, things gotta be not so good with America.”

It is unclear what kind of discrepancies are holding up his re-entry into the U.S.

Rapper Severs Penis, Jumps off Balcony in Failed Suicide Attempt

Andre Johnson
A 40-year-old rapper cut off his penis then jumped off of his balcony in a failed suicide attempt early Wednesday (April 16), reports TMZ.

Andre Johnson, who spits under the names Christ Bearer and Andre Roxx, was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Beverly Hills, Calif., where he has been listed in critical condition. His body was found on a West Hollywood street corner at 1:00 a.m.

Johnson belongs to the rap group Northstar and has ties to the Wu-Tang Clan. His group’s members live in the same apartment building and were with him at the time of the incident.

They were all apparently in Johnson’s unit when he abruptly severed his genitals then jumped over the balcony. The friends say they ran down the stairs after he jumped only to find Johnson running around and screaming incoherently. He was not under the influence of “any drugs that would cause him to do such a thing,” the friends said.

Johnson didn’t appear to exhibit any signs of depression or possible mental illness on social media. His most recent update on Twitter was yesterday. According to one of his tweets, Johnson celebrates his birthday later in the month.

Jay-Z causes outrage by wearing gaudy medallion of ‘Five Percent Nation’ group who believe whites are ‘wicked and weak’

  • The Brooklyn-born rapper wore a medallion representing the Five Percent Nation at a Nets game last week
  • One of the main tenets of the Nation of Islam offshoot is that white people are ‘weak and wicked’ and that black men hold the power of God
  • When asked if the medallion holds any importance to him, Jay-Z said: ‘A little bit’
  • Jay-Z was spotted wearing the nation’s symbol last year while giving radio interviews for his new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail
  • A representative for the Five-Percenters said Jay-Z is not an active member and shouldn’t be wearing regalia unless he subscribes to their beliefs

Jay-Z raised eyebrows at the Barclay’s Center last week when he wore a medallion symbolizing the Five Percent Nation.

The Brooklyn-born rapper was sitting court-side at a Nets game on Tuesday with wife Beyonce when he was snapped wearing the controversial symbol.

One of the core tenants of the Five Percent Nation – an off-shoot of the Nation of Islam – is that white people are ‘wicked and inferior’ to black men.

When asked by a reporter whether the medallion is meaningful to him, Jay-Z shrugged and said ‘A little bit’.

This isn’t the first time that the rapper has been connected to the Five-Percenters.

He was photographed wearing another similar medallion while giving radio interviews for his album Magna Carta Holy Grail last summer.

And in ‘Heaven’ a track on that album, Jay-Z references the Five-Percenters acronym for Allah by rapping ‘Arm leg leg arm head’.

The Five Percent Nation was founded in 1963 by Clarence Smith, a former student of Malcolm X.

But Smith decided to split off from the Nation of Islam after disagreeing over the idea of God.

Early days: The Five Percent Nation was founded in 1963 as an offshoot of the Nation of Islam by Clarence Smith of Harlem

The Five Percent Nation was founded by Harlem, New York native Clarence Smith in 1963.

Smith was originally a student of Malcom X, leader of the Nation of Islam, but split from the movement because he didn’t agree with their definition of God.

Followers of the Nation of Islam believe that founder Wallace Fard Muhammad is God, but Smith doesn’t agree since he believes that God can only be ‘purely black’ and Muhammad was bi-racial.

Smith, who changed his name to Allah, also believe that God wasn’t a supernatural being, but something found in all black men.

Black women did not possess God, according to his beliefs, but were subordinates of black men.

Still they hold a higher position that all white people who are considered ‘weak, wicked and inferior’ according to Michael Muhammad Knight, who was written two books on the group.

The Five-Percenters get their name from the idea that only five per cent of humanity known the truth about existence and are ‘poor righteous teachers’ trying to tell the rest of the world the truth

Another 10 per cent also know the truth but propagate a belief in a ‘mystery God’ to the ignorant 85 per cent.

Clarence Smith died in 1969 after being murdered in his Harlem housing project.

The Five-Percenters continue today with many followers in the rap world.

Busta Rhymes, the Wu-Tang Clan and Lord Jabar of Brand Nubian are all noted adherents.

Smith didn’t believe that God was a supernatural being, but rather something found in every black man (black women do not have God in them and are considered subordinates, but still hold a higher standing than white people).

Which means he disagreed with the Nation of Islam’s belief that founder Wallace Fard Muhammad was God since Muhammad was bi-racial and not ‘purely black’.

‘The rationale is that the black man is God and created the universe, and is physically stronger and intellectually stronger and more righteous naturally,’ author Michael Muhammad Knight told the New York Post.

‘Whiteness is weak and wicked and inferior — basically just an errant child who needs to be corrected.’

Knight, a white converted Muslim, has written two books on the the Five-Percenters and told Vice: ‘The first lesson I learned from the Five Percent was simple. F*** white people. White people are devils’.

While Five-Percenters don’t refer to themselves as Muslims, they borrow their name from the Nation of Islam’s idea that five per cent of humanity are ‘poor righteous teachers’ who are trying to teach the world the truth of existence.

Another 10 per cent know the truth of existence but keep the 85 per cent majority in ignorance by preaching belief in a ‘mystery god’.

Jay-Z isn’t the only rapper that has taken up the Five Percent cause.

Busta Rhymes, Wu Tang Clan and Lord Jabar of Brand Nubian are all noted followers.

But a representative for the group’s upstate region told the Post that they are not happy with Jay-Z flaunting their symbol.

‘Jay Z is not an active member — no one has vouched for him” said Saladin Allah. ‘It was always understood that you don’t wear the regalia if you don’t totally subscribe to the life.’
